AEDM & NaNoWriMo Day 27

Today's creation for AEDM is, bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh!
So I painted over it (you can just see the face poking through), no idea what I'm going to do with it now.

It was for my 6x6 journal so I gave in and went to my Big Mama journal to do a page but so far the background is, yeah bleh!
So then I went to my horrid journal as I don't mind making bleh pages in them, because that's how I feel they all are:

To be honest I'm feeling pretty bleh in everything the last two days, including my writing. But as I've only got a couple of days left to hit the 50k I'm off to slog, grinch and groan at my screen :(

Day 26's final word count for NaNoWriMo was: 1,597. Totalling: 37,015

  1. I can't comment on the face peeking through but I do love the green and blue you covered it with. It's like a work of art in itself.

I think your journal pages are great...truly! You are way too hard on yourself, girl. That said, I'm sorry to hear you're feeling a little bleh. I can understand that myself with all the ailments I've been dealing with.

Feel better and good luck with Nanowrimo!

    Love and hugs,
    Serena xo

  3. Sorry you have a case of the blahs - but you're a better woman than I cuz you at least got off your fanny and worked at something! I tend to be lazy, make excuses and do nothing. I actually like the green covered face as a beginning.....can't wait to see where it goes (probably somewhere purple?)

  4. Chocolate cures the blahs...go get ya some!
By the way. Leave the first picture as is...with just the eye peeking out. I think she's intriguing!

  5. I too have plenty of those paintings - but I quite like seeing what comes out next. That's a great green colour - really lush and spring-like!

    Just keep at it!!

  8. I have bleh days, too. Don't worry, they pass -- it's just a matter of distracting yourself with other fun things until they do.

Also, some of my favorite paintings started out as things I painted over in bold colors... so in my opinion, you're off to a great start!

  9. As a starting point I see a face peeking out through (tropical) leaves?

I hope the bleh's leave soon, but in the meantime stop being so hard on yourself; you're a talented lady and you've inspired many of us over the past month :)

  10. I am sorry you are feeling "bleh." I am feeling sick today - so I am feeling "bleh" today too! I KNOW that creative mojo will return - so I am sending happy, creative thoughts & hugs. :) I agree with Serena - loving the green on the top pic.

  12. Yes I agree with the others; you are inspiring and I like the green page and all your other journal entries too. That's what they are for...not always our perceived idea of perfection.
Keep going. Hope you feel less bleeeh tomorrow:)
    Chin up;)

  13. You've been pushing yourself pretty hard doing both challenges, so I'm not surprised you're having a bleh day. Three more days and you'll finish AEDM and win NaNo and get your diamond tiara...what...no diamond tiara??? Why are you doing this again? ;)

  15. Jenny, you may feel "bleh" about these pages, but i love everything i see here!! Really - i do. LOVE the colours in the first piece, and the face peeking through the greens & blues. i'm sure you'll end up making something beautiful with this. And your journals, LOVE. So i'm happy you chose to make art, despite the "bleh" feeling. :-)
